Left HN as of Jan 30th, 2019 to build cool shit instead of getting lost in hive mind comment threads. Came back for a bit in 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, then left again. Somewhat lurking again in 2025 again now that Elon Musk has destroyed Twitter.

To whomever sees this, don't read HN. Look at design blogs for inspiration and ask yourself "how do I code that?". Don't work for free. Don't license open source for commercial use (nice job Redis for getting paid!). Don't allow forks without your consent. And, most importantly of all, LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE! <3
